This attraction is an inspiration from an African Tropical Rainforest.

The ceiling is covered with netting in order to make sure that blue skies and sunlight are beamed into the setting. Raised to a height of 35 metres high, it allow birds to have a lot of space for flying and gliding around merrily.

Over here, you will get to seea total of 1,500 birds from 50 different speices flying around. This comprises of Starlings, Turacos, Carmine Bee-eaters, Rollers, Red and Yellow Barbet, Whydahs, Weavers, Parrots, White-Faced Tree Ducks, Helmeted Guinea fowls, South African Crowned Cranes and Egyptian Geese.

Aside from the colourful birds, the flora is alive with plants commonly found in Africa and a typical tropical rainforest from other parts of the world. 55 species of trees, bamboos and palm and 70 species of ground plants are found here. An estimated total of more than 10,000 plants mostly found in Africa like Tacca, Macarthur Palms, Sansevieria, Staghorn Ferns, and Spider Lily even those not found in Africa like Yucca and Heliconias abound in this exhibit.

Finally a simulated mist is also recreated to complete this tropical microcosm of an African tropical rainforest complete with simulated high cloud forests, mangrove swamps, colourful and rare birds and finally a waterfall cascading gently into valley-like ambience.

2. Jungle Jewels Waterfall Aviary

It represents over half of the planet's remaining rainforests and comprises the largest and most species-rich tract of tropical rainforest in the world.

In this place, it comprises of speices such as the Violaceous Euphonia, Red-Crested Cardinals, Yellow-hooded Blackbirds and so much more.

3. Lory Loft
Lories are found in Australia, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
The sprawling 3,000 square metres land area and about 9-storey high loft allow visitors to have a 360 degrees elevated view of the environs. At the two-tiered central feeding tower, visitors will have the opportunity to feed the birds by hand with a special nectar mixture.

Colourful, noisy and exceptionally bold—Lories and Lorikeets are great fun to watch. Close to a thousand Lories fly in rainbow flocks especially when the weather is not too hot for their demeanor.

Visitors will be able to admire the birds’ rarely seen beauty, listen to their beautiful songs and watch them as they would live in the wild.
